According to Wikipedia, the terms 'anadromous' and 'catadromous' "have been in long–standing wide usage", while 'diadromous' was coined by the American ichthyologist George S. Myers (1905–85). Wikipedia also lists three other related terms that were coined by Myers, but "did not catch on."
